Dr. Rossi was working late at the lab, trying to perfect his nanobot fertility treatment. He was so tired his vision was getting blurry, but he couldn't stop when he was so close to a breakthrough.
Just before midnight he heard a little buzz and felt a strange tickle in his right ear. For a moment he wondered if it might be a mosquito, but then he remembered that tens of millions of dollars had been spent to make this lab airtight. The nanobots couldn't get out, and nothing - not even a tiny insect - could get in. He told himself he was just imagining things, but then something soft and red flopped over his eyes and obscured his vision. He brushed it aside and saw that it was a lock of long, ginger hair...
Rossi gasped and doubled over, feeling his bones shift beneath his skin. He could hear his body changing, wet gurgles way down low and dry twig snaps all over. The red hair fell in his eyes again, and now it was even longer. Something warm and squishy was crawling around inside his shirt, and he realized it was his own flesh. He was growing breasts. Full, heavy breasts...
His body seemed to snap back into shape, he felt everything gel, and when he stood up he saw a new face in the lab's mirrored wall. He'd become a pretty little woman with red hair that was long and wavy like his sister Sarah's. Actually, he looked entirely too much like Sarah. If Sarah had a sister, this was exactly what she'd look like!
The nanobots had somehow escaped confinement, gotten into his body and feminized him. He knew they'd get to work impregnating him next, and he had to shut them down before that happened. But as he hurried down the hall he could feel his breasts getting heavier, bouncing painfully with every step, and his belly was swelling out over his belt...
It was too late. He was pregnant, and deep into his third trimester by the look of him. The nanobots had done their job entirely too well.
He went back to the mirrored wall and stripped down to get a look at his new self. The pregnant woman he saw looked so vulnerable, so small and afraid, and he had to keep reminding himself that he wasn't invading a stranger's privacy. This pink-faced, big-bellied girl with her arms folded shyly over her ample bosom... she was him.
Dr. Rossi had finally achieved the breakthrough he'd been looking for, and more. He was going to be famous as the father of nanobot impregnation... and as the mother of the first nanobot baby.
