I feel like it would be hard to overemphasize just how often these guys get killed randomly. The girls are probably cranking out three or four hundred Yings a year and that's probably what it takes just to maintain their base population. I get the impression Yinglets are kind of like raccoons in that they have maximum lifespan of a couple of decades but, aside from a few exceptions, have lived of 1.5 to 3 years.

Dissection really *was* my favourite, especially as I was the only kid whose stomach was inured to yuck. *Drawing* the little bugger's innards afterwards was the bit I hated - I was just so bad at it! (I "blame" my parents for spoiling my drawing ability: They bought LEGO for me just as I was starting to show artistic talent. It was too compelling - you can't draw something, then play with it, rebuild it and finally dismantle it and carefully put all the bits away.)
