I mean, yeah, he's suffered a great loss, it's terrible, but he can rebuild from that loss, grow and heal and change. Lots of discussion on Kalgur specifically, but stepping back to boneworm society in general- Violence is looked down on, not because the act of killing is wrong, but because taking damage in return leaves one fundamentally a changed person.
