Violent death hits everyone differently. You never know how you will react till it happens to you. Looks like Elim is the more sensitive of the two, which will probably be a big help for Kass in the future. Need someone who can empathize well to help with yingification.

Kass is still coming down off of the adrenaline and hasn't even started processing the encounter emotionally yet. That could take weeks, or months, depending on how long he can avoid thinking about it.

Certainly adds more weight to all the support Elim has shown Kass in his time of need. Few bonds exist stronger than those of brothers in arms forged in times of war.
