🕑 Added 2022-06-10 17:25:59 +0000 UTCThe ventilation system in The Teeth is extensive and quite effective. It was also implemented long before there were yinglets in the area.

Uhhhh I'm just gonna say that Beizel spoke the word really fast so that's how it sounded. >: D

a very boy-ey boy

If he couldn't talk while moving around like a liquid, he wouldn't do much talking

Lovable, but bumbling sidekick?

It's a good question! I'd like to know what he's (still) doing there. I like that in this setting, 'pet' is a common choice of profession!

There's a possible typo (unless it's just yinglet linguistic quirks being quirky), on the left bottommost panel, the word "access" is spelled "acces", specifically in the sentence, "You have acces to many fine zhings here, it seems."
Salodni Ikkis
A very pretty boy

Beizel! No! Don’t give my Lopin an identity crisis! Also just love how Beizel is casually conversing with Lopin despite flubbering in the third panel.

It strikes me here the Beizel is a extremely skilled, moreso than I initially expected. His Matriarch needed information on how Lopen is doing, without anyone being able to figure out she is concerned for his wellbeing. Beizel opts to strike up a conversation with the exile (addressing him as such to avoid suspicion) with the pretense of being curious about his outfit, knowing full well that it will be easy to manipulate the conversation into talking about how things are for Lopen, without it being clear that's the information he's after (he comes across as simply being curious about the clothing). And as a bonus, he seems to be steering the conversation toward cheering Lopen up - again, in a manner that doesn't seem like he's doing that at all. Masterful work, Patriarch.

Lopin is a friend. ;w;

I want to see a confused Lopin ask a busy Kass and have Kass off-handedly tell him "friend" without even thinking about it. Lopin needs the W. And probably wont even notice when Kass thinks to add 'annoying' after a moments pause.

Emphasis on "ass"

Okay dude we both really need to know what it is you actually do here

But asking people while they're crying can sometimes result in better information extraction!

Assistant to the City "Matriarch".

I absolutely adore how shrewd and cunning Beizel is. I feel like he's half asking for knowledge himself, and half for Lopin.
Fox Starwing
Hole yinglet, but reversed.

Now. WE know he's a friend, but maybe don't ask the traumatized boy while he's still crying. He might come up with the wrong answer just because brain chemicals are terrible.
