Kass has a quarter century of being Kassen the human. Even though he's stuck in a female Yinglet body with some STRONG Instinctive reactions, he still knows what he SHOULD be feeling and acting like. It's kind of fascinating seeing him impose his will on what is biologically a young female Yinglet brain. He's basically taking what should be a scatterbrained and flighty mass of nuerons and MAKING it work more or less the way his old hardware did. Atmittedly with some glitches. The emotions and instincts are powerful and overwhelm him in moments like this, but he's still able to batter them into submission and maintain control overall. And despite his worry early on that he'd slowly devolve into a "trash eating scav ," he seems to be maintaining a clear sense of self. It's actually kind of impressive how much of himself he's managing to keep under the circumstances.
