The alliance with the Baxxid has worked out splendidly for both species. Viracroix apparently sees potential for a human/Yinglet alliance. He may or may not know what that potential is yet. I suspect he does, otherwise he wouldn't be offering Vislet resources to solidify her power. I suspect that while Viracroix and Vislet's immediate goals match up, their long term goals might be at odds. Vislet wants to see all her people's lives improved across all of Yinglet society. I think Viracroix would be perfectly happy with the Val Salia enclave being separated from the council of elders under his direct protection.

Beizel does raise an interesting question as to the purpose of having different species living and seemingly working together. The Trademaster is keeping his plans close. Beizel would love to get a look at his plans. Yannit just likes to be noticed and identified.
