I really like the balance you keep between having sympathy for Kassen’s pain and trauma, and the *gentle reminders* that Kass is still quite a bit prejudiced on matters of species and gender. And *maybe* he should keep reflecting on that karma. It’s hard to get someone to feel both of those things for a character so fully at the same time but you do it incredibly well. Also that facial angle in panel 6 is 10/10
