I get where both of them are coming from. I've been in both positions. Trying to help someone who was stubbornly refusing emotional support. Also someone who it just wasn't the time that I wanted or needed someone trying to be my therapist. Life is complicated and not everyone heals in the same way as everyone else. But as far as I've seen it's never been a bad thing to be available to be there for someone for when they do need it.

That sentence in the first panel seems reversed? "...doubted zhat you did not used to be male" should be "...doubted zhat you used to be male". She doubted that Kass used to be male, and that was an error, right? Or am I getting mixed up?

Vizlet is the best, and oooh boy here come the FEELINGS. I had pretty much this same thing happen to me, and at that moment something inside broke. Probably needed to break, but boy I wasn't alright for a couple minutes. Thankfully, they just held on to me until I was able to piece myself back together. You never cease to amaze Val, thank you so much for creating this wonderful comic and these adorable stilt rats.

You can just see the wheels furiously spinning in Kassen's mind, as he struggles to digest what just happened XD For all their head-butting and disagreements, it is nice to see an attempt at really understanding each other <3 (The depth of your characters never fails to amaze, btw! )
