Lil' buffer post, and a question

I'm not entirely sure how late a post can be submitted and still count as part of the month before the new period begins though, so I'm gonna make this post the chargey one for the 4th page this month, and not charge on the actual page post.
On that note, does anyone know when the actual turnover is? Like, midnight based on GMT time, or based on the poster's location/time zone? Or something else entirely? I've been looking around but can't seem to find any info on that in particular. So if you know, by all means let me know! : D

Most of the people I support on Patreon bill “per creation,” so I’m not sure where people are getting the stat that people aren’t using that. I mean, you can set a max cap on the number of times you pay per creation per month, and then it acts as basically a per month donation, but that doesn’t change what the creators are doing. At any rate, please keep doing what you are doing and I’m glad this system works for you! Love the content and I’m very glad to be a supporter!

According to Patreon: "We process recurring billing for all active memberships at midnight on the 1st of each month in the Pacific Time zone (PT)." This is regarding membership cancellation, but I suspect that the timeframe is the same for creator posts, as well. https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/204089999-Why-was-I-charged-after-canceling- EDIT: Elsewhere in the FAQ of "How per creation billing works": "We [are] unable to bill patrons once we’ve entered a new billing cycle. Plenty of the people I’m a Patreon of charge per post. And I see nothing wrong with that. Especially since it works for Val Salia. I know of a few like-minded creators that use it for those same motivation purposes.

I hear that! For me, it's something of a combo of: -I don't wanna charge people the full amount if I don't put out the expected number of comics per month, and also -It acts as a really good motivator! If I don't post, I don't eat/pay rent. Works really well, keeps me from gettin' lazy or slacking off on days I'm not feelin' the art flowing naturally!

Yeah, most folks charge a flat monthly rate, so their supporters can commit a predictable amount of support, something to reliably budget for, regardless of the output of those they patronize.

You'd be best off asking in the patreon discord in the user support or patreon support channels. Almost no one uses charge per post still.
