Turns out the mold can digest the sticky foam. Desi is saved! I mean, she won't suffocate at least. All she needs to do is get the mold to digest whatever glue is blocking her airways without ingesting it, and then get it to eat enough glue that she can reach the alarm button under her desk. The hazmat team can take care of the rest. Sounds like a plan!
The fact that the mold seems to be assimilating the glue, rather than just digesting it might be a bit of an issue...

Good question. Probably Jasmine, in her first adventure she lost to a bunch of little slugs, the dumbest critters we have seen so far

Desi is looking amazing here - the mix of transparent mold and naked flesh is very appealing and I'm delighted that the risk of asphyxia seems to have passed. Too bad that her plan looks doomed from the get-go. Still, her loss is our gain! <3
