Biolab: cleanup crew
🕑 Added 2024-12-29 19:53:37 +0000 UTCIf you wait too long to address your mold problem, you have to call in professionals.
The little bot was able to sound the alarm just before it got all moldy. Ah well, there are plenty more where they came from. It's sticky foam guns wouldn't be of much use here anyway.
The troopers are dressed in mold resistant armor, fully enclosed so no spores can get in, and carry a sprayer with chemicals that make short work of the mold. A few sprays here and there and just like that, a whole lab demoldified.
As the mold's lights go out and dies, it changes color and consistency. It becomes more watery and can easily be pumped up into biohazard containers (p03), ready to be disposed of properly.

Full size drawings are in the archive. I put it in the biolab part 2 folder for now.
This will be the last update for the year. January will be a bit slower, I have a bunch of things going and next month I expect I wont have as much time available for drawing as usual. By the end of January things should be back to normal.
I will continue working on Lily's story, but I had to take a break from that one.

Indeed. They'll have to stay in bed for a day or two, take some pills, and then it's back to work. The base doesn't guard itself

Great idea! The biohazard processing facility is a place where accidents like that are just waiting to happen

Ohh man, that alien mold stuff grew like crazy since last we saw it! Good thing they've got trained professionals on the job. I'm certain nothing could possibly go wrong. Looking forward to see how this plays out! In the meantime, be sure to take it easy and pace yourself.

Ellen Jane seems to have been saved

The supervisor is hot AF. Great work. Biolab is one of my favorite stories. Great artwork.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out - the bot is very cool and I continue to enjoy the supervisor's look. Hopefully the suits aren't quite as effective as advertised.
