Good observation, Matt. I didn't know that about blonde hair. I also didn't correlate the order in which the girls were pulled from the burrow. Evie was at the very bottom; it makes sense that she would be the last to be removed. Now I know who is who. Thanks. On a separate note, I love how the spider silk remains so sticky even days after the victim was cocooned. I am dying to see shower girl wrapped up in it.

Rescue Party series is the best bondage comic.

Evie's hair gradually darkening is one of the little bits of realism I like in this series, actually. Blonde hair does tend to get darker if it hasn't been washed in a while, and I don't recall our rescue patrollers having any shampoo in their gear. (Not that I was paying much attention to their kit, of course.)

Evie is the heavily pregnant one (although the other 2 are carrying spider babies too, they are just once again very early in the cycle). I did that to show that the events of actual rescue party don't happen directly after rescue party, could be weeks or months between the 2 stories, who knows how many offspring they all had in the mean time.

Evie and Kim delivered their spider offspring at the end of Rescue Party but Sam still hasn't. That isn't Sam on the floor; she's on the bed. Which one is Evie? What happened to her blonde hair? She is a brunette now. Was she wearing temporary hair coloring that has worn off?

Another great series - I was looking forward to the shower-scene and it did not disappoint. I am a little conflicted here, because in some ways I kinda want to see Iris triumphant, but in many others I kind help but think she's going to look really good all webbed up. Sigh. Keep up the good work, you've just re-established the spiders as my favourite monsters!

For a new monster concept, how about a Trapdoor Anemone. An anemone-like tentacle monster that waits for prey to wander too close to its covered pit, then uses tentacles and slime to catch prey and drag them under. Depending on the catch, prey can be slimed and swallowed for snacking, or cuddled into the tentacles and forced to incubate batches of fertilized eggs.

Overanalysis time! (Egad, it's been a while...) The interior of the sleeping car looks great, very utilitarian and grey; the lockers under the bunks are a fun little detail. The inset showing the car's layout is also really helpful for setting the scene. I would like to express a bit of a concern, namely what's been happening to Sam since the days of Pest Control. Sam was the first one grabbed; she was in the cave the longest. When her "rescuers" showed up, they frequently threatened to roll on top of her. Now that the actual rescue party are here, they've gently removed Kim and Evie from the cave, but just plopped Sam onto her face in the sand, with her butt in the air. (It's a nice butt, I'm not complaining, but it's not very dignified, is it?) Now in the latest round of pics, our newest heroines have placed Kim and Evie together in one bunk (aw <3), but they have Sam in the middle of the floor with her head resting on what looks like the least comfortable pillow in the galaxy. This poor girl just can't catch a break!

I love it. Glad the spider is getting revenge for the deaths of his family. He has a lot of work to do on those girls. Now there are six of them. He'll be breeding them non-stop and the ladies give birth to several spider pups at once, so soon that land rover will be filled to the brim with spiders
