We could simply refer to it as the Alpha Spider. That title has a great double meaning. Not only has it shown itself to be a dominant badass, it has sired all of the other spiders featured in these stories.

Just about every part of me wants Iris to make it out of EVERYTHING okay. Just the most INSANE plot armor and such a tease that will never happen...or at least for quite some time.

Yes! I love the place the new spider story is going. I cannot wait to see the look on their faces when the first girl sees yet more of her friends turned into breeding slaves by the spiders. Maybe the cockpit of the machine can be turned into a new spider den and the girls restrained to the walls by the growing colony.

Bored, so brainstormed a possible outcome: Just as the rude spider does its thing, all the ruckus leads to the clutch in Blondie to crawl out. They then go after 4 eyes and the other chick (which I assume are outside collecting equipment or samples). Big momma spider joins in and drags the 2 fresh meat away. Meanwhile, Iris (?) manages to fight off the attacker, but not before getting pumped. She rushes out, and decides that bugging out and calling for reinforcements is better than to solo a hoard of rape spiders, drones or not. ZG never specified the gestation length of the spiders, but considering how the 3 surrogates look alive-ish after probably multiple litters, probably fast enough to be very uncomfortable for a host not swimming in spider venom. Probably falls very ill and wreaks the APC. Then she is informed by the Pest Control chick that, yeah, I recognize those symptoms. You got a belly full of spiders! In fact, so does her and the brunette chick. So now, with 3 ticking timebombs in the hands, the survivors has to somehow make their way to the closest FOB for medical intervention or probably never return. Hell, maybe they will be lucky and stumble upon Lena's ATV...

I think even the name Australis alone could work. Choosing an official name is so important to get right but I think that we've stumbled upon some ideas that are worth considering.

"Nova Australis" popped into my head as soon as I read zG's 'Space Australia" cmment. If this is made official, I know the temptation will present itself but please don't start releasing the new images flipped upside down!

Interesting. Australia just might provide the right inspiration for a planetary name. The original Latin name is Terra Australis (southern land). Terra Nova Australis or just Nova Australis for short could work. Perhaps there might be a New Botany Bay and Space Walkabout Creek on this world. Good thought starters.

Hi I just joined here and your art is fantastic! Oh have you ever thought about doing art with a creature that is similar to Hammerpede or the Trilobite from the movie Prometheus? I think you would do a fantastic job with that concept.
