A place where love goes was amazing to see in person the lights and the stage setup was so crazy to see that’s definitely my favorite song off of the album

Devin

disliking the song with yeat feels like a crime the emotion in the production alone blew me away

scooter

LOVE YALL, im back and this is what ive been waiting for

tiiiiiiiiina

Kevins fit is sick as hell

Jay

Thursday please dear god

Cracc

Please please listen to the Gilga Radio songs, Say Less, New World and Warlords are amazing

Jon Scanlon

After two listens through with you both, I can already tell I'm gonna like this as much, if not more, than 'Because the Internet'. I love his albums, not as singles. They need to be experienced as a whole, no skips. Just gotta' find an interesting wax version to go in the collection now. ;) And Kev, it's pronounced 'Krung-bin' - https://youtu.be/raoGnko2Ycc

maverick salinas

Think of it like “not all heroes wear capes”. Tainy (pronounced Tiny) is a super famous reggaeton producer who works frequently with super popular artists and DATA was a masterpiece of reggaeton.

maverick salinas

Kevin if you’re reading this, you should do a solo reaction to the album DATA by Tainy. It’s really different from anything you guys have been reacting to up until now. It’s a reggaeton album so you probably will not understand the lyrics but the sound is refreshing and plus it’s summer rn so it would fit the season

Andrew Lodge

If you guys want something frank esque you should listen to endless or the new Daniel Caesar record

Andrew Lodge

About 3.15.20: album was dropped unfinished bc gambino actually thought society would crumble post covid. That’s what inspired him to record about the end of the world on bando stone. He currently resides in ojai on a farm

Tre

This album sounds like iridescence by BROCKHAMPTON 🤔

Dan Anderson

I highly recommend going to his upcoming tour if you can. His live shows are always great because he puts a lot of thought and care into making them unique, plus this could be his last one for a long time. All of his interviews during this rollout he's been saying the live show is the most important part of the release - so I think this is going to be a special tour. Plus a lot of these songs sound like they're going to be crazy fun live

Anniecia

TBH I LOVED ATAVISTA MORE THAN THIS RECENT ALBUM 😭PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LISTEN TO SUBMARINE BY THE MARÍAS

Alec Raatz

I’m sure that’s why it’s #1 in over 70 countries

ItsMajorBro

i mean its trash so

Sebastian Fernandez

Not surprised Kevin is familiar with Khruangbin, would love to see him solo react to some of their stuff just for fun. Khru club out

Ian Turner

you guys should do bad cameo I think that Kevin would really like the album and how different it is than lets start here

David H

If you do end up doing this album please please read up on it beforehand and keep those genius lyrics open

Daniel Remian

Guys please listen to mk.gee - two star & the dream police. Eric Clapton himself said Mike plays guitar “like nobody else”. It’s wild. An AOTY contender for sure.

Richard Baartman

This would be amazing

emily

you guys should do preacher’s daughter by ethel cain :)

Graham Rogers

The cohesiveness of the project really comes together in how scattered it is. Every listen since the first I’ve felt more of a through line and understand the story, which will definitely also be helped by the movie. Steps (Jericho) beach is an awesome track to play driving

VibeWithDal

You both should watch Guava Island 🏝️ amazing film brought me to tears

Jonas Holm

Do bad cameo🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ryan Goheen

Same

Alex

Amazing Album but what about bad cameo 😭

Coco

THIS MADE MY DAY YESSSS IM SO HAPPY.

Claudiu Ralea

In the track "got to be" he sample an iconic song from The Prodigy called Breathe. If you're not familiar with them they are some of the pioneers of rave music in the early 90s UK. I think Kevin would vibe with their sound judging by how much he loves Yeezus. 🖤

Pascal Ziehe

When Bon Ivers Self Titled?

Andrew Pederson

Definitely flows a lot better track to track with no pauses but nothing you can do about that for the video! I think if you give it another run through front to back you'll find that it feels bizarrely connected and cohesive despite there being 90 different genres on the album. The outros are very well crafted

Noah Hamilton

“They probably don’t wanna hear this bullshit” Kevin and Connor I just wanna let you know I love hearing this bullshit haha!! I fell in love with your content for the music reactions of course, but I’ve stuck around all these years for you guys. Love hearing you guys have a laugh and open up about your lives, thank you for your honesty and vulnerability with the music and the real life convos. Have a great day guys sending love!

Luis Rodriguez

You should definitely try out painting Kevin! At least give it a solid try and see how it goes from there. And you already have someone willing to help you which will make learning way easier than by yourself. Loved the reaction, much love and take care guys

Richard Baartman

Honestly, I would recommend giving the album as a whole at least one more chance maybe while driving or something. Once you get used to the flow of it, it doesn't feel so disjointed and flows great. I've listened to it 4 or 5 times through while I work

Brandon Encinas

I truly love this album. It took a few listens, but it's just really clicked with me. To me personally, BTI to this album is a great run and I'm glad he ended his Gambino run on a banger for me.

Holden Watkins

I feel like your dad would really enjoy bad cameo and then obviously yall need to listen to why lawd?

Eoin

In the new Apple interview with Gambino he expresses how he believes that music has become too cheap to consume and people don’t put in the effort to actually feel albums, which was a great inspiration in making it a “soundtrack” as opposed to an album, for the audience to work to set the scene for each song. So it was cool having you both recognise on your own that after Survive

Sebastian

Would love a Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins reaction!

VibeWithDal

Personally I love 3.15.20 more than Atavista

Sam Knight

Whats interesting is that i always thought Because the Internet (and by extension this album) was influenced by Yeezus, but they came out the same year, and were in production at similar times. so 🤷‍♀️

Glockdookie

you guys should just double down and wear short shorts

Benjamin Farrell

Great reaction as always!!! Please Please get around to listening to one of The Smile albums!

Ian Cordova

You guys should listen to atavista

Tucker Storrs

I *love* mercurial world. The sonic texturing on that album is second to none.

Ryley Moulder, the boulder.

FOR REAL. WTF

Cameron Modeste

It’s the final Childish Gambino album

purplelinks

Aidan LaBianca

loved this album on first listen. you guys should def do some clairo, i think your dad would love her new album especially.

Martynas Šalaševičius

Samjay

Sebbies

yesssss, steps beach is probably my favorite at the moment but it keeps changing

claire forth

hvhhh. voo v o o o.

Ethanm11

I luv Yoshinoya

Franco Graubard

Day 2 of asking for a Magdalena Bay - Mercurial World reaction (i’m just joking i won’t spam that each video but i do get the vibe that you both would fall in love with that album and the artist)

Dominic Merritt

Love this album “survive” is my favorite this year so far

Rodney Wilcox

no anderson paak is crazy

Diego

i really hope scrapyard by quadeca is on the list of reactions for this year! my aoty still

Alec Raatz

Are yall scared to react to the new Eminem album?

hugh jass

#releasethetwigs

Avery Leland

one of the best albums of 2024 !! so glad y’all are reacting to this masterpiece and steps beach is one of the best songs ever created.

Avery Leland

BTCH NO WAYYYYY

Chase Townley

I'm glad to see y'all react to this! Just a note so there's some clarification on what this album is: according to Donald Glover this is the soundtrack to the film Bando Stone & The New World. The soundtrack doesn't follow an automatic theme, but rather the songs represent emotions/moments found in the film. This is why the album can feel disjointed genre wise. Hope that clarifies that this is a bit different to what he did with BTI as it is not a direct chronological accompaniment. I'd look into his Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe for more info!!

cackiu

hell yeah

SamLam

Are you guys gonna reacts to Happier Than Ever? You mentionned having it on your list in the HMHAS reaction but we never got news about it

RosaV

Im retweeting this

RosaV

Haven't seen it yet but I just screamed loud asf at work seeing the notification I was waiting for this.

Henry Bone

Construction under 98 degree weather can now be bearable thanks to turning the tables 🥲

Guilherme Pacheco

3.15.20 was the unfinished/unmastered version of Atavista, he was convinced the “world was going to end” or something like that so he wanted to push out a version of the project and then replaced it when he finished.
