Wow...that's really fucking dumb. I'm subbed to Patreon writers who write full on sex scenes in their works an Patreon has been fine (not smut, but like, a lemon scene in a chapter). This is so fucking *dumb*. Ahh well man, I hope to read the new chapter soon. (If you still want to post the unedited version, you can post a link to the google doc, after making it so no-one can edit it, that way we can read it there, and there's no issue. Just an idea)

The disclaimer is a great option, another way resolved the issue to to no longer post the chapter as text in Patreon but to post an excerpt but have the full chapter linked as an .epub or similar.

Put a disclaimer up at the beginning of the chapter that all characters are 18 years and older and the chapter is not suitable to underage people. That is what a lot of authors on here are doing to get around that.

I have seen plenty of stories on this site where the characters are around 16 or so and have plenty of straight up R-18 stuff. It was about Anime though. So maybe since HP was made into movies with real characters so the guidelines are more strict. But then again, I have seen HP stories with R-18 content on this site too. So maybe this is a recent thing. I really hope this gets resolved soon as your stories are amazing.

Yeah they've been very strict about the no u18 touchy touchy stuff recently, may want to cut down on the lewds if they are already monitoring your stuff. They've completely shut down bigger accounts due to it unless you link the spicy stuff to an external site, so long as it ain't hosted here they don't care too much.

I AGREE THIS IS BS but I think this probably happened cause HARRY POTTER had real people actors in movie wile other works such as danmachi for example could be said are a drawing or CGI thus no problem but people over reacts anytime anything is implied if related to people in real life

Dick move, Patreon. I managed to read it before it came down, and there was nothing extreme about it. I've certainly ready Harry getting up to a lot steamier action than that on this site. Btw, the book title, Necrotic Arts. Necrotic literally means 'dead tissue', it's decay, the opposite of what Voldemort wants. Necromantic technically is only about conjuring and communing with the dead for divination, but it's been co-opted by fantasy to mean all magic related to death, and those who create zombies/undead/etc, so Necromantic Arts would make more sense.

If you need to I've seen lots of authors moving to share a Google docs link for any more adult chapters. This seems to help them avoid being flagged but people can still access it.
