Sales tax on Patreon and refocusing my Patreon?

USA patrons may be charged extra due to sales tax added on Patreon.
I don't know if Patreon notified patrons about this but the sites suggests to mention to patrons about sales tax being added to the site. I haven't fully figured out how to control tax charges due to the rather late notice but for now just be warned you may get charged a little extra so please keep that in mind.
About refocusing my Patreon.
Not gonna lie, for a while I've been starting to feel a little bit frustrated to work on MUGEN characters. I often struggle to implement new things, add more frames, make aggressors, add CGI scenes of sorts so I mostly just rely on making victim characters based on the framework gettag created so as of late working on these characters started to feel pretty stale, I've been thinking of ways to try to break the mold and make my work exciting and fresh again so Im considering moving from MUGEN and seek alternatives at least for the time being.
So, what's next then?
I have a project Im currently experimenting with and want to work on, it's a very different project altogether so this may sound scary.
- An RPG Maker MV erotic high school sim featuring original characters.
I know, this is a risky gamble that may not pick a lot of folks interest but it is a project Im itching to work on. I've been learning how to do tricks in RPG Maker MV and want to put my drawing muscle in action! I want to give it a pixel art aesthetic so it doesn't look like the standard RPG Maker artstyle to stand out more from your average RPG Maker creation.
It's still in very early stages though so I'd like to at least make a demo and see how much interest it gathers, I would love to hear your opinions :)

Not really! I know the bread and butter of this page is h-MUGEN action! Don't be scared, this Patreon won't be repurposed into my RPG Maker project and switch bait you into it! (That might get it's own funding page.) However, as I implied above, I've started to feel a burn out from working on the same framework over and over so Im changing my priorities.
I'll be mostly working on my RPG Maker project so character releases will be slowed down.
- I will work on SD characters only.
- I won't make a fully compatible character monthly. (This has been evident the last months)
- Ideally, I'll release the basic 4 baomaru poses for the monthly release. (Doggy, Cowgirl, Missionary, Prone bone)
- Characters will be creator's choice.
- More info on commissions later.
Hard to say where this will all lead on a long term but should my project fail it's fine, Im seeking for a change of pace at least momentarily, this might just make me feel like coming back full steam and refreshed! I'll keep you informed for other MUGEN plans that might arise in the future.

Remember that a good RPG game is worth a lot for history ...... characters ...... and art style and with those 3 plus steam sales will be a great profit

The market for RPG Maker H-Games is very saturated. I wish you the best in your venture, though.
