I've made multiple attempts at this one sprite set over the course of multiple years and I finally finished it! In past attempts I hated them for different reasons and idk I felt like I could never make something up to my standards. I'd finish something and hate it and feel discouraged and put it off again for months lol. This time I tried to approach it with the thought that "done" is better than "perfect" and this is the result! I'm not 100% happy with it but NOW SHIKAMARU CAN LOOK DOWN AT YOU WITH HIS JUDGING EYES!!!!!!!!
In the files u can run the VN with the new sprites! While playing it and reading it for the first time in probably a year seeing Shikamaru talk filth while looking directly into my soul.................I got nervous........
If you have a problem with the files I have no idea what to do about it sorry! π Next I have a bunch of cg art to make....

OHH!! It's been decided then! I'll go with your immersive experience :]] my personal favorite thing about your backgrounds are the lighting and colors. You do really well with matching it in a way that exhances the characters without taking away from the piece! They're so immersive in how they click together so I have faith it's gonna be great β₯οΈ

I kinda did hope some people would wait 'till it's done to experience it with my art for the first time lmao like I can only imagine what it'd be like lmoaoao but oogh I needed this hype thank you I'M GLAD YOU LIKE MY BGS I just do what I think is the minimum to get by so I'm glad they stand out but I rly do wanna create somewhat of an immersive experience with my art for this so I'm gonna try my best!!

AAA!!!!!!! It looks amazing, idk what it is but how you draw shikamaru is just SO GOOD. Like that's him!!!!!!! That's the guy!!!!!!!!!! I will say, I'm very excited to see how you portray him and the scenarios/backgrounds! I haven't read the fic it's based off yet (I can't figure out if I want to read it now or when this comes out) but I'm already so excited! Your backgrounds on their own are amazing (specifically the elevator one and that one picture of shikamaru of choji in the bathhouse, both lovingly haunt me π₯°) so I can't wait to see what you'll do here.
