Lots of progress for the 1.20.1 build, things like particle effects, sounds and animations were ported almost entirely, the only big systems left to implement before we can start mass porting abilities are projectiles (which are partially implemented in the form of Rankyaku but lack collision) and explosions. There are other things of course, but most of them are used by few abilities and so will not really slow mass porting in itself.
Progress is at somewhere around 25%.
