Chapter 6 Roadmap
🕑 Added 2021-07-11 23:30:30 +0000 UTCHi all! I'm back from honeymoon (it was dope) and ready to get rolling on Chapter 6! Because Chapter 6 is kicking off Act 2, I'll be doing a bit more stuff this dev cycle than usual. The biggest highlights: I'll be making a new Act 2 main menu screen and trailer as well as making some long-necessary GUI updates. Here's my basic plan and rough timeline for this dev cycle.
This week, I'll be working on polishing up Act 1 (ie. the borked animation), making GUI improvements, doing the June and July combined special renders, and fleshing out Act 2's story beyond the rough outlines I already have. I'm aiming to get the special renders and the polished Act 1 done by the end of this week. After that, I'll turn my attention to the writing and rendering work for Chapter 6. I'll try to have the main menu and trailer done by the end of July/early August, and the full Chapter 6 release in mid-September.
In short:
- June + July special renders this week
- Polished Act 1 end of this week
- New main menu and trailer by end of July/early August
- Chapter 6 by mid-September
As always, thanks for your support! I'll keep you all informed daily on Discord, and every ~2ish weeks on Patreon!
