This is it, this is the Procedural Wet Skin Shader To End All Procedural Wet Skin Shaders (watch me somehow improve it even more within a few years). My god I've tried so many approaches to this conundrum and I can't believe how much more simple this one is than any of them. It may or may not hold up in extreme closeups, but should be just fine for most uses!
