Aerogel

This caused a lot of cracking, but it did work. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to make a few more. With a fresh co2 tank I should be able to make one that is almost crack free.

Can you make graphene aerogel, which is the lightest solid and area bit stronger

Can you make a slightly higher density aerogel which is less likely to crack? Or the density and the cracking are not related at all?

Aerogel is awesome! Have you seen the video there the guy coats himself in aerogel and walks in and out of a pool completely dry? It was a very interesting video

Yo this is awesome! I'm in R&D at a company that manufactures aerogel insulation, and I'm pretty hype about the attention it's been getting recently; first the series by Veritasium, and now a Nile Red video! If I may ask, what chemistry are you using?

Making Areogel, regardless of the cracks, is an amazing accomplishment! Good work!
Looking forward to the video!

Omg can't wait to see a vid on it

So that what the CO2 cylinder you made. Are you using dry ice to condense CO2. Cool.

sprinkle some silica desiccant and you have a real dish.

Looks good enough to eat.
