Empress Saya - Panel Process
🕑 Added 2023-09-22 19:59:49 +0000 UTCI've always love drawing Saya, Clove's mother but unfortunately I don't always get the chance to do so. Design wise she's very similar to Clove but with a far more aggressive aura. (Even her pupils are sharper if you look closely). ^^ Special thanks to my assistant Tanvi for doing such a nice coloring job!
I knew the initial chapters of Season 3 would feel a bit "slower" since I wanted to dive deeper into the Azure clan and Clove's life growing up in the palace. Personally, I think it adds a much deeper layer to Clove's character and shows how much control was placed on her.
