[Doodle] The Trio
🕑 Added 2024-09-27 01:59:03 +0000 UTCDoodle of Becky/Swill/Gonzo that I liked enough to splash some color onto it! I think this is getting closer to the bodytype I actually intend Becky to have... I've typically made her a bit too large (which is weird of me to say lol) and I know I've said that before but I'm still figuring it out. Perhaps I should just do a ref-sheet kind of thing.
I also included a small doodle idea involving a doorway where Becky sends her tail above and across a doorway so when you're viewing them from the inside, Gonzo further appears to be an entirely separate entity (instead of Becky's tail running across the floor in the doorway). Maybe an odd idea but I got it from how snakes travel up brick walls with those square-shaped corners they do, heh.

Becky and Gonzo navigating the doorframe for a joke like that brings back memories of some of the dumb things we'd do to try and make our CLIC patients start the day with a laugh. Most of those we worked with were 10 and under, so there was this quiet hope that a bit of slapstick might take some of the edge off what they'd be having to do for the rest of it. 💛

Becky actually looks a lot smaller to me in this pic, more similar in size to swill. I think I originally got the impression there was a huge size/age difference because of that POV picture from the hospital bed where she seems enormous (in the very best way!)
