Final Demo Bug Fixing (Update Part. 2)
🕑 Added 2025-09-12 07:46:27 +0000 UTCHi!
Here's another dev update related to the Final Demo bug fixing.
In the last post, I mentioned that I started with 173 "must-fix" bugs in my list and I mentioned that I manage to reduce that number to 41.
Today I'm at the number 11, so there's finally light at the end of tunnel :)
Now most of the shelter customization related bugs should be done, there's few more magazine system bugs, few with the sleeping mechanic and then rest are mostly UI related things.
I'm hoping to get all the rest ones done today, then I will do some optimization and continue with the Border Zone map which needs a bit more iteration since there's few issues with that "large vertical strip" idea which are going to be problematic for the AI, so I have to consider what's the best way to approach this to the final demo, so I don't have to do any major changes once the I return back to commercial branch production after the final demo.

Good to hear youre making progress :) Just save energy for (and if) we test the demo before its release because for sure we will find bugs you didnt even imagine :D

Overworking was also my first concern. Dude is built different. And I think this level cannot be achieved by AAA ever, especially regarding pace. AAA projects can have bigger scope obviously, but that’s about it. This is the golden age of indies imho. Such low entry barriers combined with stores like Steam where all the true gems rise to the top due to reviews etc. My last 7 out of 10 titles where I said wo what a great game were indies.
