Dev Update (23/08/2025)

Here's a quick dev update.
I'm currently finishing up the registration for the Steam Next Fest which involves a bunch of small tasks like taking new screenshots, updating the demo video clips on store page etc.
This process is quite annoying in a way since I have so much cool commercial branch content that I would like to show but since I have to reserve most of that footage for the actual early access trailer, it's quite limiting since I have to constantly think "don't spoil this yet" etc :)
Tomorrow when I have completed the registration process, I will continue with the Border Zone map and I also have to start focusing on bug fixing quite soon since there's so many new features in-place with this "final demo" (even with limited demo content).
I have now also updated the trader tasks in a way that they will represent the early access tasking process and I will talk about this more in that next devlog.

Have you thought about making the demo time limited in some way? Then you could use the full EA version. It would also better represent the game and get more people to buy in. The time limitation would be enough to separate the demo from the EA version. An example I saw recently was Anno 117. They allowed unlimited playtime but only 1hr per save game, so you have to restart after an hour. It gives you a taste of the full game but still leaves you wanting more.

You've been so transparent with every new map, mechanic and asset, so it must be tough to hold back some things now. Imagine stockpiles are quietly building up in your arsenal. Reserving your arty rounds now will make the October offensive unstoppable.
