Wow! We've got Hospital Playlist for K-drama reactions; I'm staying in your Patreon account for a while because this drama has a long way to go. 😂 I just want to give you a heads-up about the main characters here in the drama. Dr. Lee Ik-Jun/Dr. Lee (General Surgeon)—the married one; in real life, he is the husband of Gummy, a famous singer. She has many songs for K-drama OSTs, just like "You Are My Everything" in the drama Descendants of the Sun. Dr. Ahn Jeong Won/Dr. Ahn (Pediatric Surgeon)—the founder of the Daddy Long Legs foundation, who is also known as Andrea and resembles Sehun. Dr. Kim Jun Wan, also known as Dr. Kim, is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, known for his constant angry demeanor and glasses. I don't think you remember him, but he is the boyfriend of Choi Sooyoung (SNSD). Dr. Yang Seok Hyung/Dr. Yang (obstetrician and gynecologist)—the one who confessed to Dr. Chae. Dr. Chae Song Hwa, also known as Dr. Chae, is a neurosurgeon and the sole female member of the group. During "Hospital Playlist 1," the other 3 were all assistant professors except Dr. Kim and Dr. Chae; they were associate professors. Fun Fact: Dr. Lee, Dr. Yang, and Dr. Chae all started as theater actors. Dr. Kim was a theater major, while Dr. Ahn performed in theatrical productions in university. Thus, they can actually sing. But for this drama, Dr. Chae sings like someone who is tone-deaf. I would like to clarify that the reason Dr. Chae and Dr. Kim were fighting was that he did not directly tell her he saw her ex-boyfriend cheating. Instead, he secretly encouraged her ex-boyfriend to confess to Dr. Chae about the cheating. Dr. Chae felt that she would have preferred to know about the cheating beforehand rather than trying to convince her ex-boyfriend to confess, especially since he initially did not want to do so.

All five of the main cast members in this drama have also done musical theater, so not only are they great actors, but they’re also really good singers. And the actor who plays Ik-jun is actually close friends with IU — she even appeared on his Netflix variety show. Plus, way back in the early days of her career, when IU was still a rookie, he once played her love interest as well.
