I know the downsides of timers (although this one isn't real time), but it's actually pretty important to the balance the way some things have been redesigned. That said, I'm still early in dev and haven't had the time to test player feeling thoroughly, and some things may change.

This looks like it'll be great fun! Plenty of corners to trek through and neat chances to pick our battles. I do wonder about the dial at the top, though. Timers are, generally, more stressful than helpful. Though, 33 is a pretty large number, if that is what this is.

Assuming this is procedurally generated, this could be a good solution to the potential issue of feeling like runs become very "samey". Excited to see it in action.
