I felt the same way at the beginning of this season. I wasn’t bored but I just really wanted to know what was happening with our characters, so it felt a little annoying. But I promise you’ll love this season.

It was pretty cool that you thought it was the past in a past war at first, because when you finally saw Zeke and Reiner it absolutely blew you away. I think that was the most shocked I've seen a reactor when they realized when we are now. The animation studio did change, from WIT to MAPPA. There are differences, some for the better, the look is more gritty and closer to the manga style, and save for a couple things the adaptation is even more faithful. But what makes this season is the amazing acting, the score, the plot, the story.

You can watch the new intro after the 1st episode is done now. That being said, avoid watching that new intro starting at episode 17 (76) going through 21 (80). After episode 21 (80) it's okay to watch the new intro for the second half of Season 4.

You are correct. Season 1-3 was made by Wit Studio and Season 4 was made by MAPPA and damn MAPPA was cooking :D. Aaaand...no spoiler, I just want to inform you that there are postcredit scenes in episodes 04, 11, 23 and 27. I hope I haven't forgotten any. Have fun with the fourth season <3. Now I need to watch Episode 2
