Midnight Ceremony 🕯
🕑 Added 2021-11-14 14:59:04 +0000 UTCAs always, we meet in the parlour at midnight for a witchy ceremony. This time we started by taking a deep breath together. Breath, after all the lockdowns, shared together. It felt so good we did it again.
I read runes for our guests, one at a time. Burned cedar for protection as we read their fortune. I was looking forward to this part, having a moment with each darling to reconnect.
While I read fortunes there was a station to blend potions (aromatherapy oils and natural fragrance blends to create our own fragrances.) The scent of lemongrass and smoke filled the room, rainbow vials and rose quartz stones.
The new girl grabbed my hands when it was her turn, “I’ve been asking the universe for this,” she said. Her eyes were wide as she tripped over words to explain that she’d been manifesting feminine energy, a coven of her own, and here we were. Like magic.
