It’s been all killer slumber party pics lately and I feel like we haven’t really said hi, so hiiiiiii.
I’ve been dealing with some bitter as fuck post-divorce feelings. This cloth is apt, very passive aggressive, and very on brand. Lots of yelling Alanis and prepping for the Adele album. Today the rage is like lava in my veins. So tell me folks… what do you do when you’re feeling really bitter towards an ex, like things are just fucking unfair… would love some advice or suggestions in the comments.
So far this weekend I have: invited my cute little nieces over for a sleepover, reached out to friends who understand, flirted with someone sadistic, and focused on the next slumber party WHICH IS 3 WEEKS AWAY!!! 🥳
Just FYI we we’re trying something different this time, instead of offering Instax Packs we’ll be selling off specific Instax photos after the event. This is in an effort to reduce my work load for the events and put less stress in my schedule when things are already A LOT.

This helps totally. It’s really a whole mind fuck eh? I feel lucky to have O and Joie and other good friends I can scream to about it. Seeing them angry for me really helps somehow.

Honestly, in my case I got through a lot of the early stages mostly by being in shock, I think. But once we got to the point where they were at least talking to me in mediation, I dealt with a lot of this by talking about the latest mediation session to my very supportive friend group that didn't know my ex directly at all, because their supportiveness came with a subtext -- or occasionally text -- of "I am restraining myself from SMASHING THEM for your sake but I REALLY WANT TO." (Meanwhile, yay for efforts to reduce your work load for the events and put less stress in your schedule!)
