In Her Backseat
🕑 Added 2020-03-23 00:49:07 +0000 UTCFucking in the back of her work truck like a Lana Del Rey song, our laughter bouncing off of the steamed up windows, I’m in love with her no matter where we are.
“Who knew we’d have to make it through the apocalypse,” I teased. She’d just finished work, power is an essential service, especially during a pandemic. I’d brought her hand sanitizer and gloves, and disinfectant spray for cleaning her phone. I had extra and she had none. “The world needs worriers,” she always reminds me.
We make jokes about Love in the Time of Corona, how quarantine kisses are sacred signs of commitment. “I guess you’re not lukewarm about me huh?” I’m curled up in her lap and she brushes my hair out of my face. “Nah, not lukewarm, fucking hot like an arc blast,” she says. I love the way she looks at me, she kisses the corners of my lips as they curl into a smile. “What’s an arc blast, boss?” I ask, and she explains the bright flash of electricity when it jumps, how it’s four times hotter than the surface of the sun.
“Arc-blast-hot huh,” I tease as she slides her hands between my legs and makes me gasp. She fucks me with her fingers in the backseat, wet and shaking, when I cum she kisses my face softly and calls me her good girl. I melt against her, try to match my breath to hers to slow my heartbeat, my eyes are closed and I’m drifting away on endorphins when she says quietly “Don’t google it, by the way.” I know she means the arc-blast. She doesn’t need to say it. She already knows I’ll romanticize her words and get curious. “It’s scary, and I know you already worry,” she kisses the top of my head and squeezes me.
She’d mentioned before when discussing qualities she would look for in a partner, that “someone who will still love me if my hands and face get burned at work” is high on the list. It made me want to press my forehead against hers and make a million promises. Her world was dangerous before all of this virus stuff. The majority of injuries in her line of work are to the exposed areas, hands and face. I love her face so much it hurts to think about. I kiss her hands and each of her fingers every time she talks about it. I promise not to google arc blasts. And she promises she’ll be safe. But I’m pretty sure I’ll love her no matter what.
