It was nice reading your comments on my thank you post. They were so awesome I decided to give away all three wands instead of just one. Congrats to Karly, Casey and Kristan, I hope the new wands leave a lasting impression. (And feel feee to send me pictures of the marks!)
A few nice things from my end: I ordered some cute new girl-gang merch things that I can’t wait to show you. I’ll be doing a giveaway again when they come in! I want to find more ways to show you all my appreciation.
In other good news this week: my grandparents sent me some things from their house, they’re moving to a smaller space. Just sentimental treasures, the last high school art project my aunt did before she passed away, wildflower embroidery my grandmother made, photos of my mother and I in their garden when I was a baby. Treasures. (And a few jars of their cherry jam, I’m a lucky girl.)
I’m missing my coven and my regular dates with my babe. But we’re all staying connected. There’s been porch drop-offs and long phone calls and mail and surprises at doors. I see every day how important all of the things we built together are. Our community and support network. Queer women thrive on them. I thrive on them. I can’t wait to be able to make our grand plans come true again. One of the greatest joys of my life is being in service to this incredible group of women.
Another good thing is I’ve finally had a real breakthrough with some healing from my past relationships and it feels really freeing. No “one thing” happened to get me there, just plenty of little steps and best attempts. And enough time to see all the small efforts take shape into a happier healthier life. I feel like a free bird, like I lost a thousand pounds of emotional baggage. Fuck yes to that.
It’s not all sunshine and rainbows of course. The lockdown has been too long, especially having everyone under one roof, but we’re doing the best we can and trying to find good things every day. I hope you are too!

Glad that things are going well! Or at least as well as they can be now. I’m doing well still. Just waiting for things to be reset when this all “ends” hopefully things can be done to actually help the people of the world. We can only wait. Slowing getting through stuff I’ve been wanting to get through still. ^^

I’m so glad you’re healing too. We deserve it! I hate passive aggressive drama, Hope the Roomie situation clears up soon. I love this new goal! The tiktok scroll is mind bumbling. My kids are trying to convince me we should do a family channel.....

This Tuesday, my laptop gave up the ghost, so as you can imagine that was super annoying. Luckily, as a furloughed worker I'd just started getting unemployment, so it was fairly easy to get a replacement on its way. Still, getting stuck without a computer for this time is frustrating. I'm happy I'm able to shelter with my wonderful girlfriend, though, and she's keeping touch with her long distance boyfriend throughout this.

Gah, I always mean to reply to your lovely posts and get sidetracked! 💛 You are so sweet to check in on people. I am juggling a fulltime degree and children at home when a kind soul said to me this week, "Well aren't all you Uni students working from home now anyway?" in one of those snarky, dismissive tones- like apparently that means it's easier? I have two submissions due by Saturday and neither are even halfway done. So of course I binge watched Normal People on Stan because unending angst and emotional turmoil is my kink hahahfuckonlyhalfjoking. Seriously though, totally recommend. It was beautiful. Also pretty sure I need to quit caffeine but let's be honest- that won't be happening anytime soon. So yeah. I'm fine- totally fine! 🙃😂🙃😂

Yay emotional breakthroughs! I've had a few of those myself these last 8 months or so and they really truly are freeing. Frustrating things: roommate (not in our polycule), who we did a short term rental for to get him out of a shitty situation before lockdown began, is being whiney and passive aggressive on facebook. It kept me up late last night trying to figure out the best way to address it and still be compassionate but not overly nice and placating. (2.5 more months!) Nice things: I have been diving so much more into the realm of "pay creators for genuine work" and it has been very fulfilling. I'm also working on engaging with genuine content (hi!) instead of just mindlessly consuming *coughtiktokscroll*.
