Put Me On Ice
🕑 Added 2019-11-26 13:44:01 +0000 UTCWe went for a hike in the forest, tap danced on the marsh to see if it was frozen solid, took pictures in the biting cold. There’s something magical about walking on the water during the winter, standing in places reserved for the fish and the ducks and the herons the rest of the year round. I told stories of ice fishing from when I was a little girl, of making our own fun in the snow. Heart pumping, sun on your face, wind in your hair, cheeks with a chill.
