Improv: Your Boyfriend Makes You A Cup Of Tea and Ponders Orbs [failed experiment lol]

i just hit record without any ideas in my head, not even a character or a premise, and started making noise. turns out that's a terrible idea, at least when you have very little experience doing improv. i'm defo a writer, not an improviser.
i might do something improvised again in the future, but with a premise to start with, and maybe a barebones outline of a plot. that might go a little better.
i hope you're at least able to have a chuckle at this failed attempt.

This was a riot. ๐ I went from 'How nice, now I have a British boyfriend who hums pleasantly and makes tea with just the right amount of milk' ๐ค and then suddenly Bleeding Orb in the Sky and then the 4th wall was just savaged...then the laughter...I dunno, seems like mission successful to me, just for a VERY niche audience. I apparently am in that audience because I got a really good laugh out of it. I can't improvise for shit so this seemed like goals to me. ๐

I mean, at the end there, it seemed to move towards "Boyfriend thinks he's trapped in an ASMR audio", which I think could potentially be a very fun and interesting premise๐ Improv can be really hard, especially for those that aren't used to it. Generally, you should always have at least an idea of what you want to improv about, or where you want the improv to go, so considering you started 100% from scratch, that was really well done!! The first minutes honestly felt like such a natural, everyday kind of domestic convo, and it was so nice!
