Sims 3 - Toy vending machine
🕑 Added 2024-10-24 15:13:57 +0000 UTCWelcome to my childhood memories with "La machine à tirettes" (a vending machine with small drawers), aka "la tirette". It was part of all the fairs! For a small amount of money, you could get a random toy, a cheap watch, a ball... and there was always a very special toy in the display that you wanted so hard without being able to get it... :D
I like finding those "old stuff" in my game, entertaining my Sims, so I had to make one for game. It's funnier in Sims 4 because you get a random toy, but it can still works in Sims 3 with Arsil's Food Maker.
So, I 've added NMGP to some Sims 4 toys I had converted some time ago, allowing them to be bought from the machine; I've updated those toys, adding their name in their description, but that update isn't necessary as long as you have those objects installed.
I've converted 3 new Sims 3 hand toys, a car, the triceratops and a horse.
How to set up in game
In Buy mode, left-click on the vending machine (Entertaintment/Misc), and choose "Settings".
- Set object as NOT counter appliance
- More/Set MakeObject interaction name => Buy
- Set objects => Enter the list of the NMGPs you want to use. For example: ATS3_speedycartoy_s4,ATS3_ponytoy_s4,ATS3_triceratopstoy_s4,ATS3_femaleactionfigure_s4,ATS3_maleactionfigure_s4,ATS3_robot_s4
