One of the best things they improved on from GOT is the establishing shots. Hotd gives you such a better idea of where things are in relation to each other. They always struggled with the scale in GOT. Like seeing how massive the dragon pit is next to the red keep.

Not episode 3 related, but why do the Darklyn shields have 7 white shields on them when half of the Darklyn Kingsguard can’t have been sworn in yet?

I actually like that these are coming out right before next episode, it’s like an in-depth “last-time on HOTD” kinda vibe. And I appreciate the in-depth part, wouldn’t want you to sacrifice that to get it out quicker. Thanks for the great content!

Thanks Shift! Gotta say, I kinda like your content dropping when it does. I watch and re-watch the episode Monday (here in Oz), by the time I’ve finished that, a couple of the early reviews have dropped. I watch those. During the week, the longer ‘chat’ videos and deep dives appear, which are fun, and then your fully considered and researched piece drops on Sunday night (again, Oz time). So I’m ready for Monday again. Bring it in earlier if you want, but I reckon you have the balance pretty right.
