Hey Shift - loving these videos, having almost as much fun with them as I am the show itself! In the other night’s episode, I was interpreting Seasmoke’s restlessness as Laenor having died offscreen, given the connection between dragon and dragon rider (like how Caraxes screeched when Daemon was shot by an arrow). This way, the show runners are showing us that Seasmoke can accept a new rider without too much exposition. What do you think?! Also - if I had any idea how on Patreon, I’d change my name to Belandra the Black Dread. Cheers!

Thank you again for the manual captions. The attention to detail of noticing Helaena's diary entry with Arryk/Erryk's dreamed deaths! That completely escaped me. Some incredibly bad parenting all around in this episode. You'd think some of these people would've stepped back and thought, "What I want them to do was really bad for me when I got put through it. Maybe I don't want to be a terrible parent and make my children experience the same trauma," or, "I didn't get ___ when I was a child. I should make sure my children don't feel that same neglect," but nope. I was annoyed at how many times Criston Cole was bad at his job and seemed to be rewarded regardless while reading the book, but it is a million times worse in the show. Knowing the extent of his heretofore unknown bad behavior, I am now borderline infuriated. Talk about failing upward.
