No, that's not the correct way. You can just use all your content, the log file will tell you which car is broken.

That kinda sucks, I have a massive mod folder and hadn't realized I couldn't just add ACE to it. Looks like I'll have to make a separate install just to get this to work. Ugh frustrating lol

Easy Way is to delet the Cars Folder in Content and start the game. It will download the original Cars and the mod will work but you have to download all the Car Mods.

Have the same issue, sounds like its not very easy to fix, haven't figured it out.

You need to Regen.list you can find it in the main Menu on Home. If the Cas dont load after Regen.list than you have broken Car Mods in your Assetto Corsa Content Folder.

New player here. For some odd reason ACE is not seeing the path to Assetto Corsa. I entered it prior to starting the game and in the settings menu in home and nothing is happening. I can't see cars or tracks. Not even the vanilla Assetto content. Basically I can't even buy my first car or anything. Please HELP! Thank You! BTW Amazing work! Can't wait to explore this deeper.

I am now connected with your discord but am very new to it. Where can I find the post with your cache_pp.bin file. I am also not sure how to clean the log or make the regen.lists.

Try doing this: i posted a couple of hours ago my personal's cache_pp.bin on my discord server. Place that in the documents folder to make the log stop complaining about the missing file, then clean the log. Try making a regen.lists and see what is writing: it will probably writes the damaged car you have in you content folder.

I did, it looks like when i go to my logs it shows this. Can you assist with this error? FileNotFoundException: Could not find file "C:\Users\User\Documents\Assetto Corsa Evoluzione\cache_pp.bin"

I am having the same issue. It is acting like I am a brand new user. Alex is there a tutorial for initial setup somewhere you can provide. I’m getting frustrated not being able to get it working again. Very well may be user error on my part but I would appreciate a guide for setting up the game path as I think that is my issue. When I open the game it does not find any cars or tracks. Thanks!

It's all written in the FAQs, you have a damaged car so the game can't create lists and caches. Fix or Delete that and try again.

Sadly when Regenerating the Lists my game spins on creating vehicle lists indefinitely.

Be sure you redownloaded it with fixes. Then do a Regen.Lists. If still not working then check for damaged cars. In log you might find the damaged car's name.

Very nice improvement to loading speed indeed! Also does the mod pick up the settings from normal Assetto corsa? I managed to turn off the penalties so I can get an easy experience. Please don't change that! I'm going for a relaxed, casual drive. Thank you!

Hello Alex, tested the new Release for one our. Loading times are a big improvemend. But still the Lauda vs. Hunt Event Crashes.

hey.. the game seems not to find my AC folder.. i selected the assettocorsa folder.. or do i have to select the acs exe? also its strange that the browser does say "open" when searching for the game path..

Nice little update here Alex, but I just found a little bug with it when in the garage if I switch it to the new view showing the car previews, I am unable to sell any car until I switch back to the list view.
