Hacked to the bone

Today, I discovered yet another case of my content being hacked. I am both furious and disgusted. The comics that were shared are recent, just a few weeks old, which means that the scumbag who did this is still around. I can't understand why there's no a litte bit of respect for the work that has been done, like waiting at least a few months before posting recent content. It's truly disgusting to spend hours on the Karolina Family Affairs, perfecting every detail, the posters on the wall, the AI images, the geographical and historical references, only to end up like this.
It's theft without conscience, and while I've come to terms with the fact that a bit of success inevitably brings these kinds of consequences, I can't accept the fact that a 280-page comic, which represents around 200 hours of work in terms of creation, testing, scripting, layout, and more, is simply reposted like that, almost immediately after it has been released. It really is 200 hours. It's enormous.
And on top of that, the number of subscribers on this Patreon, the only source of funding for materials, is staying constant or even slightly decreasing, meaning I'm probably not even (still I thank all of you for your support). I've seen that some files available on the web have already been downloaded 4,000 times, and obviously, I don't have 4,000, not even 1,000, not even a tenth of that as patrons.
Anyway, beyond the anger, I'm a bit disgusted. And the worst part is that some websites are making money off my comics by offering subscriptions to their site to access the content (not just my comics) at a more expensive price than here lol. That's even worse!
I'm also disgusted because I know that there are some of you who genuinely appreciate what I do, who understand and love the EOA universe, the characters, and it's for you that I enjoy creating these comics. I truly do it for you, not for the money or the fame. Sometimes I think I should create some sort of club, a website with restricted access, a lower fixed price, a better chronological presentation of the comics... but I don't have the time.
Well, to sum it up, my mood is gloomy today. Thanks to my loyal readers, and I hope that the scumbag who stole my comics will one day realize the harm he's causing.

It does seem like the shitty people out there make more noise than the peeps that do try to show some respect for other peoples time and talent and effort. Karma.....may it find the shit head responsible for that hack

Fuck dude, what a joke. Just remember people take your content because you are that good at making it. That's all I can think to help the situation, you are always killing it. Hope those fuckers experience your pain one day. Keep up the good work.
