The Dragoness - Hired Escort.
🕑 Added 2020-04-01 17:26:05 +0000 UTCThe Dragoness had hired the young elf adventurer from the guild as an escort. He was young, pretty and rather naive - easily swallowing the lie that clothing was not customary among dragons... She delighted in flustering her new plaything at every turn on their journey.
If he was too distracted to think for a minute that the playful Dragoness could shapeshift, fly, and certainly did not need a frivolous young elf as bodyguard, then his 'bountiful reward' at the end of their journey would likely come as a genuine surprise. She chucked to herself as her blushing escort missed every connotation and wry referral to him as a 'hired sword'.
