This was a lot of fun! Tested out some new brushes for a more textured look. I've also been experimenting with skipping pencils and going straight to inks, both to save time and to achieve looser, more lively lines. I'm very happy with the end result!
If you use photo reference in your work, I highly recommend VIShopper's Cut out people. It's a database of poses you can search through by gender, lighting, age, even activity and fashion style! It was invaluable in creating this piece.

I settled on Catwoman pretty quickly. She's a popular, recognizable character who's always relevant, and has a simple, clean design. She's also gone through several iterations over the years, giving me the freedom to mix and match elements as needed.
I usually work out the two ends of a sequence first, before filling in the transition between them. For this piece, my original idea was to end with a soft catgirl, taking the Catwoman idea to its fetishistic extreme. I used the costume from the latest Batman movie as a starting point and even tried to sneak in a reference to the 2004 Halle Berry entry.
However, the progression was choppy, while the constant mask changes made it hard to "recognize" each step as the same person. A series of distinct outfits works best when we're following a character through various life stages. For transformations that happen within a few minutes I prefer smoother transitions.
Additionally, the frilly catgirl finale didn't feel true to the patron request prompt: rather than a slutty version of her costume, it's a different one entirely.
All this led me to rework the idea and resulted in the final sequence you see at the top.
Hope you like! ♥

Aww thank you, that's a real nice compliment!

Ha! The resemblance is accidental! Maybe they're sisters...

Amazing. Love the expressions in the first three steps especially, starting with shock and terror before softening. They're very recognisably Sortimid's work!

Your Christmas Elf girl doesn't have good luck dressing up in costumes, huh.

It was inspired by "Hammertime!" from MC Hammer's U can't touch this

Thank you so much! Real happy with the textured look

Thank you so much! I've been trying to pull off "slowly comes to a standstill" since the first Matter of Style sequence, ten years ago. Finally able to make it work.

In all serious though, what I like most about this one are all the subtle aspects. Her frantic running slowly coming to a standstill as her concentration drifts away, the lanyard morphing into a bell collar, the cowl ears becoming more articulate in parallel to the realistic tail growth, and the depiction from a matt leather to a skin-tight rubber (camel toe and all).

As always you deliver and then some! I especially like the powdery shine look at the end!

Ugh, I hate those annoying pornification auras. Always catching me at the most inconvenient moments.

I've just had a very sexy two part idea for the next transformation.
