“Obito, things at the main camp seem to be spiraling out of control.”
A raspy voice came from behind Obito. It was Black Zetsu, who had continued to manipulate Yagura in Obito’s absence.
“Out of control?” Obito cast a questioning glance at Black Zetsu before narrowing his eyes. “Are you saying those bloodline-clan shinobi are planning another assassination attempt?”
“No,” Black Zetsu replied, his tone laced with intrigue. “This time, they’ve united—and they’re planning to launch a full-scale battle against Konoha. And, unfortunately for me, it’s not something I can easily dissuade them from.”
There was no avoiding it. The command to wage war against Konoha had been issued under Obito’s manipulation of Yagura, originally intended only as a means of pressuring the Bloodline faction.
However, no one had anticipated that these bloodline clans within Kiri would not only support the order but also fan the flames of war, rallying the more aggressive factions among the Mist shinobi to actively prepare for battle.
“I see…”
Obito narrowed his eyes, contemplating the situation.
These Kiri shinobi were proving to be far more troublesome than expected. Since they were so eager for war with Konoha, he might as well let them bear the consequences.

Meanwhile, in Sunagakure, Rasa was in high spirits after a heartfelt conversation with his son.

"After all, we have an alliance with Konoha."
Onoki, known for his fiery temper, glared at his son. Kitsuchi, in contrast, was mild-mannered and straightforward, often frustrated by his father's deep-seated suspicion of others.
With a loud slam, Ohnoki shot to his feet, ready to reprimand his son. Trust? Alliances? They were nothing but illusions.
Especially now—with an Uchiha as Hokage—Konoha was more dangerous than ever. These people couldn’t be trusted. He had to keep a close watch on Konoha’s every move.
"Naïve! Just like—"

A sharp, splintering sound echoed through the room.
“…Hurry… Someone help me…!”
Clutching his lower back, Ohnoki grimaced, his face turning an alarming shade of green. At that moment, concerns about the Uchiha becoming Hokage were the least of his worries.

"Keep quiet! We're going to the hospital. Let the medical-nin take a look at you!" Kitsuchi scolded, exasperation clear in his voice. "You're not young anymore, Father. Stop trying to act tough!"

The Fourth Raikage sat in silence, his expression unreadable as he absorbed the latest news. Uchiha Toshiro had officially taken the seat of Hokage.
For a brief moment, disappointment flickered in his eyes.
He had anticipated a fierce struggle between Konoha’s leadership and the Uchiha. Given their notorious history, it was an open secret among the village leaders that the two factions were anything but united.
This was also caused by the battle between the Shodaime and Madara. They just wanted to fight, but they made the scene so grand that it would be difficult for them not to know.
