Unlike the Second Hokage, who was completely under Toshiro’s control, the First Hokage’s immense strength granted him a degree of autonomy. However, under the combined suppression of Toshiro’s Sage Art and his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, even he couldn't break free.
"Your name is... Toshiro?"
A new voice, clear and pleasant, echoed from behind him.
It was Uchiha Nako, summoned by Toshiro.
As she studied the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan in his eyes—remarkably similar to her own—an unsettling thought formed in her mind.
"Grandmother.., it was quite rude of me to disturb you from your slumber in the underworld.."
Toshiro maintained a respectful demeanor toward his grandmother.
"Without a doubt, you must be Masahiko's child!"
At the sound of the word "grandmother," Nako momentarily froze. She hadn’t expected that even after death, she would one day meet her grandson. The wonders of ninjutsu never ceased to amaze her.
The patterns in Toshiro’s Mangekyō Sharingan closely resembled her own, with the only difference being the additional hollow circles along the edge of his iris. Everything else was nearly identical. Combined with the fact that he had inherited some of his father’s features, Nako couldn’t help but form certain suspicions.
"So… Masahiko…"
Though countless questions filled her mind—astonishment at her grandson’s ability to converse with her chief among them—her greatest concern remained her son.
A quick scan of the surroundings revealed no sign of him. And from that alone, she could already guess the truth.
"My father died before I was born."
Toshiro spoke with calm, though a trace of emotion lingered in his voice. "Summoning you and Izuna-sama was not a choice I made lightly. I hope you can forgive me."
After all, Nako was his grandmother, and Izuna, a respected elder of the Uchiha clan. Toshiro felt no need to exert control over them.
"That Izanagi just now... was it your eye power?"
The mention of her son's sacrifice dimmed the light in Nako’s eyes, but she had long accepted the inevitability of death. There was no use dwelling on what could not be changed.
Instead, she focused on what had just transpired.
She had sensed it—something unusual. The reason Danzo’s Izanagi had failed to activate wasn’t a mere coincidence. Toshiro had suppressed it.
The most logical explanation was that his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan had overpowered Danzo’s ability. Yet, Toshiro’s eyes remained unaffected—unscathed by the toll that typically accompanied such a feat.
There could be only one explanation: it was the unique power of his eyes.
"Ah... One of my ocular techniques is Izanagi."
After wiping the blood from the corners of his eyes, Toshiro confirmed his grandmother’s suspicions.
Among the abilities he had awakened, Izanagi was one that truly satisfied him. However, it came with a heavy limitation—he could only activate it three times before his Mangekyō Sharingan would inevitably go blind.
Yet now, with the Eternal Mangekyō, an unanswered question lingered in his mind:
Would his newfound eyes override this restriction? Could they reset the cooldown period that once led to blindness, allowing him to use Izanagi indefinitely?
This uncertainty was precisely why he had used the technique so freely in battle. He needed to test the extent of his Eternal Mangekyo’s evolution.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, the Sandaime observed Danzo’s unconscious form. A fleeting trace of disappointment crossed his face before he turned away.
Leaving Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Kushina behind, he stepped forward, heading directly toward Toshiro.
"Toshiro..."
The Sandaime opened his mouth as if to speak, but the moment his gaze met Toshiro’s, his words faltered. The faint smile on the young Uchiha’s lips and the intricate patterns swirling in his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan made him instinctively lower his head.
"Now that you have captured Danzo, can we sit down and talk?"
He wasn’t sure if Toshiro had already seen through his earlier hesitation, but despite his doubts, he clenched his teeth and approached, determined to negotiate.
Toshiro chuckled softly. "Sandaime… you may be getting on in years, but your reflexes are still remarkably sharp. The moment Danzo activated the Four Symbols Seal, you led your people in an immediate retreat. Your reaction time is... impressive. Quick thinking, swift movements—you really live up to your reputation."
There was an unmistakable edge to his tone.
It was obvious that Hiruzen Sarutobi had anticipated Danzo’s recklessness. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have simply stood by and watched as Danzo made his move.
Toshiro wasn’t the only one who noticed. Most of the seasoned shinobi present had likely sensed it as well. The only one who remained unaware was Kushina, whose limited battlefield experience prevented her from picking up on the subtle clues.
The Sandaime stiffened at the remark but quickly composed himself.
"...What are you implying? It was merely instinct… experience, nothing more."
As expected from a seasoned politician, the Sandaime remained composed despite Toshiro’s veiled sarcasm. With a natural laugh, he continued,
"I never expected that Sharingan eyes were in Danzo’s possession. I was deceived by him, falling into his trap and misunderstanding both you and the Uchiha clan."
He then adopted a more assertive tone. "Why don’t you let me handle this traitor myself?"
Toshiro, however, maintained his silent smile, offering neither agreement nor refusal. The Sandaime felt a twinge of unease.
‘Does he know about my involvement with Danzo?’
The thought gnawed at him. If Toshiro had uncovered his hand in orchestrating these events, there was no way he would allow Danzo to remain alive.
"Rest assured, I will not twist justice for personal gain. Danzo’s crimes—his betrayal, his conspiracy against his fellow shinobi, and the noblest clans of Konoha—are undeniable. He will face swift and severe punishment, I promise you."
Danzo’s mind was likely riddled with mental seals, but such precautions were hardly a concern for the Uchiha—especially those who had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan.
"No need to worry, Sandaime," Toshiro said coolly. "Since he was captured by our security forces, we will handle his punishment accordingly. But tell me, why are you in such a hurry to pass judgment on Danzo?"
Observing the Sandaime’s outwardly composed demeanor, Toshiro smirked.
"Are you perhaps worried about certain... inconvenient connections coming to light? Don’t be. We Uchiha are fair-minded—we believe in a thorough investigation. We won’t falsely accuse the innocent, nor will we allow the guilty to walk free."
The Sandaime let out a heavy sigh. "It’s just that this man's actions have brought disgrace upon Konoha’s leadership. It pains me deeply..."
His gaze darkened. "Besides, Danzo carries a wealth of Konoha’s secrets. If any of that information were to leak, the consequences for the village would be dire."
Seeing that Toshiro had no intention of agreeing and instead planned to use Danzo as a leverage point for further investigation, the Sandaime maintained an impassive expression. Without the slightest change in demeanor, he subtly shifted his argument, now using "confidentiality" as a justification to press his case.
'This old man probably wants Danzo dead more than anyone,' Toshiro mused silently, amusement flickering in his eyes.
He had no doubt that if the First and Second Hokage were not standing on either side of Danzo, the Sandaime might have already taken matters into his own hands—eliminating Danzo before any unpleasant truths could surface.
A clean break. A way to absolve himself of any lingering suspicion.
Toshiro glanced back at the Uchiha gathered behind him. Most of them hailed from the First Branch, their presence both reassuring and, in some ways, frustrating. He sighed inwardly—clan matters were always the most complicated.
These people were always loud about their ambitions, yet when it came to taking real action, they hesitated—torn between their convictions and their fears. They were contradictions incarnate, speaking boldly but possessing hearts too soft to follow through.
Itachi was the perfect example. No matter how much he resented the village’s leadership, when the time came to act, hesitation gripped him. His greatest fear wasn’t rebellion—it was the possibility that his actions might lead to the village’s downfall.
Toshiro smirked. “I won’t be handing Danzo over to you. And even if I did, you killed him. I could just summon him back with the Edo-tensei.”
“It would be far easier to extract information from him then than it is now, so don’t waste your breath.”
The Sandaime stiffened, momentarily at a loss for words. His expression darkened, but Toshiro ignored him, amusement glinting in his gaze.
“Instead, you should be focusing on how to resolve our issue this time.”
He let his words linger, his smirk widening. “If you fail to present a solution that satisfies the Uchiha…”
A soft chuckle escaped his lips. “Well… hehehe~”
