Shiromari, exhilarated by their success, couldn’t contain its excitement. Its tail lashed out uncontrollably, obliterating the remaining trees around them.
Of course, that tail whip wasn’t just a simple strike—Toshiro had reinforced it by layering chakra-infused hardening and the weighted rock jutsu, amplifying its destructive power.
Shiromari felt that its tail, even if faced with the Nine-Tails directly, could bully it for some time. No, even the Eight-Tails itself would have to think twice.
"Earth Escape: Super Rock Iron Cannon!"
With a look of disdain directed at the Eight-Tails, Shiromari charged towards Kirabi, who had created a massive crater in the ground. It opened its enormous mouth and expelled a giant stone ball, nearly twenty meters in diameter, hurling it towards the opponent.
These ninjutsu attacks, including the Super Rock Iron Cannon, were executed through Toshiro’s seals, and Shiromari didn’t need to control them. As Kirabi was still reeling from the previous blow, their new wave of Ninjutsu attacks surged forward.
"You damn bastard!"
A blue flash of lightning shot towards Toshiro and Shiromari; it was the Raikage, hurled by Kirabi during the chaos of battle.
"Useless effort!"
Toshiro, observing A’s approach with a steely gaze, made no unnecessary movements. His two pairs of arms, one set on his shoulders and the other on his armpits, had completed their seals.
Lower rank ninjutsu, B- and C-class jutsus were unleashed with considerable force.
Sensing that this might not be a significant threat to A, Toshiro also raised his long sword and swung it toward the Raikage.
Whoosh!
As Toshiro's sword cut through the air, a blue-green sword aura streaked toward A.
Although his bloodline doesn't allow for the same variety of transformations as ninjutsu, it enables him to manipulate the size of his weapon at will and project his chakra outward in powerful slashes. Similar to the slashes used in One Piece World.
"Even if it costs me my life, I won't let you succeed!"
Seeing Toshiro and Shiromari charging towards B, A knew he had to buy time for his brother, no matter the cost.
Without hesitation, he braced himself, charging headfirst into the oncoming ninjutsu attacks. He planned to rely on his Lightning Release Armor to endure the assault of flames, wind blades, and surging water. But as he broke through the barrage, what awaited him on the other side was not a reprieve, but a brilliant, azure sword slashes, gleaming in the distance.
"You can even strike like that!!!" A thought, surprised by the unexpected move. But the attack was already too close, leaving him no choice but to brace for impact.
This was the frustration of close-combat ninjas like him—when their speed was too fast, evading certain attacks was impossible. All they could do was endure the blow head-on.
Crackle! Sizzle!
A chaotic burst of electricity filled the air.
As the smoke cleared, the figure of the Raikage emerged, arms crossed in front of him. However, a diagonal red slash now marred his body, running from his right shoulder to his left hip.
Hiss!
The sound of blood spurting was followed by the heavy thud of something collapsing to the ground.
"The strongest sword, indeed, it's unbelievably sharp!" Ai muttered as he glanced at the wound on his body and the dumbbell-shaped bracers lying shattered on the ground.
It was fortunate he had those bracers; without them, this strike could have been fatal. Even so, his injuries were substantial.
Just as A prepared to intervene and stop Toshiro, Toshiro, fresh from his sword strike, was oblivious to A’s intentions.
He immediately commanded Shiromari to charge towards B once more. "Strike while the iron’s hot," he thought. If he didn’t finish the job now, when else would he get the chance?
"If this guy recovers, I'll be the one in trouble," Toshiro thought grimly.
Meanwhile, B, who had just been slammed into the ground by Shiromari's mighty strike, stared at the deep trench gouged out in front of him. He shook his bull-like head, still dazed and struggling to process what had happened.
The sheer power of Toshiro’s attacks was overwhelming. His jutsus weren't just devastatingly strong—they were augmented to a level that made them larger, denser, and more forceful than anything B had ever encountered. Even with all his might, B could barely handle the brunt of the attack.
Just as he was trying to regain his bearings, the voice of the Eight-Tails inside him interrupted his scattered thoughts.
"B, you're in no shape to fight. Let me take over."
B, still feeling dizzy and disoriented, knew his partner was right. Fighting in his current condition would be a losing battle.
"No... Never mind! I... I can still... hold on!" B's voice came out haltingly. Unlike his usual rhythmic rapping, this time, his words were broken because he genuinely struggled to speak. Toshiro's last strike had left him reeling, and he could barely control his body.
"B, move!" B's thoughts were cut off by the urgent voice of the Eight-Tails inside him.
"Be careful..." Gyuki warned again, but before B could make sense of the danger, he saw a massive rock, larger than a house, hurtling toward him.
"It's..." He tried to move to escape the incoming boulder, but his body was still in disarray. His entire frame was too dizzy to even twitch a tail, let alone dodge the oncoming threat.
"Switc..."
Before B could finish the word, the massive boulder crashed down on him. He didn’t even manage a final attempt to resist as his body went limp, and he lost consciousness entirely.
B had fallen unconscious, yet his tailed beast form remained intact.
"Roar!"
"Uchiha brat!"
"That hurt, you know!!"
Despite B's coma, he managed to complete the switch with Eight-tails before losing consciousness, leaving the Eight-Tails in control of his body.
But Gyuuki wasn’t exactly having the best luck.
No sooner had the Eight-Tails taken over, a massive boulder came crashing down on him—an unfair blow that caught him completely off guard. And to make matters worse, the boulder was enhanced by an weighted rock jutsu from Iwagakure.
Barely recovering from the first hit, Eight-tails saw more boulders arc through the sky, raining down on him in rapid succession.
"It's never-ending!"
"Continuous Tailed Beast Bombs!"
Unlike B, who still hesitated out of concern for collateral damage, Gyuuki had no such reservations. In fact, he fought with little regard for the consequences.
Faced with the incoming boulders, Gyuuki unleashed his ultimate attack. Though these weren't fully powered Tailed Beast Bombs, they were enough to buy time and fend off the barrage.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Four consecutive Tailed Beast Bombs obliterated the reinforced stone projectiles that Toshiro had launched, turning the massive boulders into nothing more than dust scattered through the air.
Still unsatisfied, Gyuuki's eyes locked onto Toshiro and Shiromari, determined to retaliate. Without hesitation, he unleashed the fifth and sixth Tailed Beast Bombs, sending them hurtling toward his targets.
As for the Raikage, well, unfortunately for him, Gyuuki didn't even notice—he was too small in comparison.
"Ugh, this is definitely a pain," Toshiro muttered as he watched the Tailed Beast Bombs heading his way.
This was the strength of Killer B.
In his normal state, B was already a Kage-level powerhouse. In his first transformation state, his speed, strength, and chakra grew noticeably. When he reached the second state, those enhancements became even more pronounced, and the Tailed Beast Cloak provided an additional layer of formidable defense.
Once he fully transformed into the Tailed Beast, it usually required an entire ninja army to counter him. And even in that state, B still had the ability to switch with the Eight-Tails, making things even more difficult.
There was a significant difference between the chakra a jinchūriki controlled and the raw chakra of the Tailed Beast itself controlled.
