"Yugito, this enemy is beyond your capabilities. Let me take over!" A raspy, gender-neutral voice echoed from the depths of her consciousness.
"No... No, it's too soon to let you out!" She hesitated, fully aware of the risks. Although she had reached a partial truce with the beast and could harness its chakra, surrendering control entirely was another matter. She feared the consequences—what if the beast used this opportunity to break free?
"Relax, I'm not doing this to trap you this time. Besides, the enemy is an Uchiha. I despise their presence," the beast reassured, its disdain for the Uchiha clan evident in its tone.
"And... you really don't have a choice right now!"
Matatabi was insistent, not wanting Yugito to fall into the hands of this Uchiha. It could sense his piercing gaze, almost as if the Uchiha could see through Yugito and look directly at it, and it didn't like that feeling one bit.
Besides, in its long life, it had encountered other descendants of Indra, and those memories were far from pleasant.
"But..." Yugito hesitated.

Blue-black flames erupted from her body, rapidly enveloping her. Her form expanded and twisted, growing exponentially until what stood in her place was no longer human. A massive cat-like creature, cloaked in blue-black flames with intricate black patterns and two long, swaying tails, now loomed in the clearing. Its size was immense, dwarfing even the largest of lions and tigers, which would have seemed like mere snacks in comparison.
"Darui, take C and get out of here!"
The urgency in Yugito's voice was unmistakable as Matatabi fully took over her body. She could sense the gravity of the situation, understanding that even with the tailed beast's power, they might not be able to defeat this enemy. Desperate to protect her comrades, she issued a warning to Darui.

But how could he just leave? Darui was torn. Abandoning a comrade, especially someone from his own village, was unthinkable. If he fled now, how could he ever face the Raikage again? And there was another problem—Yugito hadn’t fully mastered the tailed beast transformation. If she lost control, things could get even worse.
Leaving her behind could mean disaster.

Matatabi’s voice echoed with a mix of urgency and excitement as it prepared to face the Uchiha across from them. For a creature rarely let out, this was a chance to engage in a real battle.

With a sharp command, Toshiro, who had already created some distance during Yugito’s transformation, lunged forward. His powerful step left a massive crater nearly ten meters wide in the ground beneath him, signaling the power of his attack.
Toshiro launched himself like a cannonball, defying gravity as he soared through the air, aiming directly for Matatabi's head.

A thunderous impact followed, sending Matatabi's massive form crashing down into the nearby forest, snapping branches and crushing leaves under its enormous weight.

In the distance, the two Konoha Shinobi, who had narrowly escaped the devastation, swallowed hard, their throats dry with shock. "He's even more powerful than we thought."

This kind of battle is far beyond his ability to interfere with, so it's better to get back alive and report the information to the Raikage.
Taking advantage of the Matatabi's moment of vulnerability while transforming, Toshiro, who had floored the opponent with a single punch, didn't hesitate. He immediately lifted his right leg high and brought it down like an axe, aiming to finish off the still-dazed beast.

"Now then, let's have some more fun... Two-tails!" he taunted, watching as Matatabi rose to its feet once more. Rather than attacking immediately, Toshiro decided to hold back, curious to see if his opponent could still surprise him.
In that moment, he began to understand why Madara enjoyed 'dancing' in his battles so much.
The restlessness of his bloodline was one thing, but what weighed more heavily on Toshiro was the loneliness that came with great power—having strength but no worthy opponent to test it against.
"I wonder, if I capture this jinchuriki, how will the Raikage react?" he pondered, his thoughts drifting to the AB duo waiting for him in the Cloud Village. The mere idea of facing them in a thrilling battle was enough to send a surge of excitement through him. The prospect of finally finding a worthy opponent to challenge was intoxicating.

As the beast slowly rose, the stage was set for a fierce battle between man and beast. The only witnesses to this spectacle were two shivering, hidden ANBU operatives who could only watch in trepidation.
They desperately hoped that this time, they wouldn't be the ones to cross paths with Toshiro. If he decided to settle scores later, they wanted no part in it.
