A Quick Status Update
🕑 Added 2023-01-30 01:50:09 +0000 UTCI mentioned earlier this month that I was going to be unable to actively work on modding for the rest of January, and wouldn't be back in the saddle until February. That is still holding true, though my timeline has been nudged up to about the 10th of February.
However, as I suggested, it's going to leave me a lot more time and headspace to work on things. It's amazing how relieving financial stress can do that. I appreciate all my supporters, both those who have stayed on and those who were unable to continue for helping encourage me to keep at it.
My project list once I'm back at it is going to include:
- Look at changing the paradigm of how my mods are developed, including separating out some functionality into libraries that my mods will be dependent on. (Written by me, in whole or part)
- Completing In Dappled Groves to 1.0 functionality, starting with ironing out bugs and compatibility with some fairly important and relevant mods (such as Wildcraft Trees).
- Overhauling From Golden Combs, likely involving a complete rewrite from the ground up. Backward compatibility isn't guaranteed, but it is my ambition. This is definitely going to come with new features and is likely not going to be a fast rewrite as a result.
- Ensuring that Fields of Gold is up to date and compatible with the various farming mods out there.
That's the latest update, and I look forward to getting back to it. It's been too long.
