Machine Box!

I think this might be my new favourite box, at least for a little while :) So fidgety!
As is fairly apparent, this is a variation on the Machine Canister, except (a) it's rectangular, and (b) it has only one latching pin. And, it's a bit smaller than its rather large sibling!
Much as I love hexagonal boxes, they do present complexities when we have things like inset hinged lids, since the lid will intersect the side during its range of motion if not catered for. Not so with rectangles! This allows the tolerances to be a bit tighter between the lid and the box, and it means the hinge area itself is simpler (especially since there's no need for pin slots through the moving parts!).
Printing Tips
As always, this is designed for support-free printing, and everything prints assembled. The box prints top-down and the lid prints face up. Make sure your first layer is nice and neat, and since this has lots of moving parts that print assembled you'll want to make sure you don't have stringing or anything else that might bind the moving parts!

I flipped my glass bed upside down and relabeled the bed and I did you watch box and turned out great.

You're totally right, the first layer is all important, and it's the hardest thing to get right! I know what you mean about the A20M, actually - I have an A10M sitting around, and while it's great for things like vase prints it's a bit questionable for anything more complex. Still, the colour mixing is nice :)

Looks like now that I've become a patreon I need to work on my 1st layer on my ender 3. I've printed 1 of your models on my geeetech a20m and it turned out ok but that printer isn't consistent. My ender 3 is but for some reason the 1st layer always seems so squashed and I've tried. But back to the drawing board. Great work.
