How strange! The MK3S is a great machine and shouldn't have any problem with that model! No surprise that infill didn't help - it's going to be mostly perimeters anyway. You could try increasing the number of perimeters/shells and see if that helps - the printer could be rushing around trying to add tiny spots of infill. The other easy thing to try would be to just drop the feed rate and slow everything down. Also, feel free to join up on discord and post some pics of what's going on 😁

Anyone have tips on printing the hexagons? I'm having a heck of a time with it coming loose on the bed. I added a brim and now it stays in place but the hexagons are collapsing or getting knocked over. So, I tried at 50% infill, no joy. I'm using Prusament PLA with Prusa Slicer on a MK3s with default settings except I tried changing the "Lift Z" to .8 from .6.

4th try was the charm! You aren't kidding about the retraction. Black box and lid with a gold\copper hex pattern, looks really sharp. If I get a chance I will post a pic

Those hexagons really give retraction a workout! Did you get it printing more reliably?

Love this design, base and lid printed fine, had a couple of fails so far on the hexagons but I'm trying some different settings.
