Some extra info - And Render - about Vanessa
🕑 Added 2023-09-17 22:26:53 +0000 UTCI was answering a Patron and reminded of a couple of interesting facts some people may not know, so. here they are:
Vanessa is based on an older woman who is short, but she looks younger than her actual age. Her daughters are from different fathers due to (*spoiler that will be explained later*), this is why they have different features: Phoebe has a Latin dad, while Audrey has a "north European" dad.
As for their features being so different to Vanessa, it is my fault when I begin building the stories more than 10 years ago, it won't be easy to fix, so I wrote a reason with the unification of my stories universe, somehow a spoiler: some families in Deamore (the country) have a lot of affinity with the land they live, meaning that the more they dilute their blood or go far from their land, they lose their "powers".
Meaning that her daughters got most the features from her fathers and not their mother. IF Vanessa was living on her "land", her daughters would be redheads like her. This is explained better in the future where we find her other "niece".
About the genetics, the Gianne family use to be of small stature, having only a couple of very tall Girls in the family, so, they don't have a clue about this repercussion in general.
About the fathers, Vanessa knows who they are, but it is a taboo nobody talks about it.
Phoebe's father is her ex-husband, Audrey is daughter of an affair she had.
